We are excited to announce our Bulky Waste Voucher Program for Yolo County residents to dispose of unwanted material at the Yolo County Central Landfill. One voucher will be issued per household bi-annually for the month of May and October.
No commercial haulers or business materials are accepted. Residents must bring voucher and show proof of residency (e.g. ID, utility bill). Max size: Full-size pickup truck bed, full-sized van, or small trailer less than 3ft high and less than 8ft long. Additional items accepted, payment by credit card only.
Accepted Items
- Large furniture (sofa, table, mattress, bookshelf, etc.)
- Major appliances (washing machine, dryer, water heater, refrigerator, etc.)
- Electronic devices (televisions, computer monitors, vacuums, etc.)
- Auto or truck tires
Unaccepted Items
- Abandoned vehicles/ vessels or large automotive parts
- Yard trimmings or tree stumps
- Hazardous or excluded waste
