My objects are the result of my unwavering fascination with forming and fusing metals coupled with my deep appreciation for nature, our relationship with it and the daily practice of distilling ideas through craft.  Metalworking is a craft where the recycling of remnants is not a novel idea, metal is regularly recycled in to new raw material.  What excites me about working with the discarded waste materials from the transfer station is the opportunity to fold and form these findings in to new objects that have a fresh life and gesture while continuing to exhibit the qualities intrinsic to original object.
