For the month of January, Recology will collect natural, undecorated, unflocked holiday trees up to 6 feet in length.
Customers who subscribe to organics collection (yard waste) service may place trees out for collection on their regularly scheduled organics collection day.
Residential customers who do not subscribe to organics collection service may schedule a holiday tree pick up during the month of January at no additional charge. Please contact customer service at 425.453.0220 or Bothell@recology.com by Friday, December 31st to schedule a tree collection.
Flocked trees are not accepted with organics collection because flocking contains non-compostable materials including adhesives, flame retardants, or additives. Flocked trees may be disposed of as garbage for an additional fee.
