Recology is committed to providing the best service in our industry, paying fair wages to our hardworking employee-owners, and charging competitive rates to our customers.

To address increased costs of service over the last 18 months, Recology has submitted a request and the SF Controller, as rate administrator, has authorized a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of 8.86% for Recology’s collection services, effective January 1, 2023.

The COLA is driven by the overall increased costs of service, including wages, employee health care, vehicle repairs, and fuel costs. The COLA will be applied to all services provided by Recology Sunset Scavenger and Recology Golden Gate.
