On-Call Collection

For large items that don’t fit in your bins, like old furniture, appliances, or extra bags of recycling and trash, schedule an On-Call Collection.

Residential customers receive two curbside on-call collections per year at no additional charge. If you exceed your number of free pickups, you may request additional collections for a fee. If you are a tenant in a multi-family building, please contact your property manager to schedule a pickup.

Each collection must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and items must be on private property only (entrance to your driveway) and not in the street or on the sidewalk no later than 7 am.

NEW – As a safety precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19, On-Call Collection is limited to items that can be securely bagged or boxed (no loose materials). Bulky item collection is limited to 3 individual items.

We do not accept hazardous waste, liquids, items with oil, diesel, or gasoline, tree stumps, poison oak, or bug infested material.

DONATE

If it’s possible that some of your items, such as sofas and tables, could find a new life, please consider donating to one of the many non-profits in Santa Clara County.  Not only will you be helping divert items from the landfill – you will also be helping a great organization!
