Bulky Items

For large items that don’t fit in your carts, like old furniture, appliances, or extra bags of recycling and trash, contact us for a collection estimate.

DROP OFF

Every May and December, residents will receive two free vouchers for drop off at the San Martin Transfer Station. One voucher may be used to drop off garbage such as painted wood, furniture, and other large items that do not fit into your garbage cart. The second voucher may be used to drop off recyclable items such as untreated wood, metal, and two electronic items, such as a television or computer monitor.

If it’s possible that some of your items, such as sofas and tables, could find a new life, please consider donating to one of the many non-profits in Santa Clara County. Not only will you be helping divert items from the landfill – you will also be helping a great organization!

Morgan Hill Multi-Family Dwellings: The property owner/manager must call Customer Service at 408.842.3358 to schedule the FREE bulky item collections. The number of free collections will depend on the number of residential units.
