Wondering What Bin it goes in?
YARD WASTE/ORGANICS
Food scraps, meat, bones, uncoated soiled paper, coffee grounds with filters, leaves, grass clippings, branches, and weeds can go in your yard waste cart. Yard waste carts are serviced on a weekly basis on your regular pick-up day.
RECYCLING
Paper, cans, aluminum, glass bottles, and most plastics (no plastic bags!) go in your blue cart. These items are then sorted by material-type and reused.
LANDFILL
What is garbage? Thin plastics (bags and saran wrap), cat litter, ceramics, broken glass, gloves and masks. These items are not sorted and go directly to landfill – choose carts wisely!
